Sino-French Design Award

The Sino-French Design Award (SFDA) was founded in 2019. It was jointly founded by the UNESCO Creative Cities Alliance and Saint-Etienne International Design City. It is built on the top platform of the world-renowned Saint-Etienne International Design Biennale. It is an academic, professional and international Sino-French two-way design exchange competition and honorary certification award. Since its inception, the award has always been based on the core of the integration of Chinese and French design cultures, focusing on the three core directions of innovative design, intangible cultural heritage activation, and green sustainable development. The integrated international platform of transformation and talent incubation has become a landmark brand event for Sino-French cultural and creative industry cooperation, and has extensive influence and credibility in the international design field.
