"Guan · Xiao Wu" -- IP Image Design of Dongguan University of Technology

The "Guan Xiao Wu" IP project is based on the background of the Year of the Monkey in the founding of Dongguan Institute of Technology and the school motto of "learning but not knowing enough". It creates an IP image with cute interest and cultural depth, and forms a visual system of "unified IP hierarchical identification" in combination with the discipline characteristics of each college to design its own style. The product side builds a multi-creative matrix, covering stickers, key chains, mouse pads and other categories, adapting to the daily scenes of teachers and students, while developing the college to customize the surrounding to strengthen the discipline identity. The value of the project is remarkable: it not only uses IP as a link to transform abstract culture such as school building memory and school motto spirit into perceptible cultural creation, but also helps campus culture to be passed on from generation to generation. Through the exploration of IP commercialization, it injects sustainable power into the campus cultural brand, and also provides the student team with the opportunity to practice the whole process from creativity to landing, realizing the multiple goals of cultural dissemination, brand appreciation and practical education.
